Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is lighter in the original. The white background is slightly yellow on the illustration but is really white in the original. The work is in very good condition. Tiny losses of painting are visible upon very close inspection : (1) along the left edge (approx. 2 mm); (2 and 3) along the right edge (approx. 1 mm each); (4) along the lower edge (approx. 1 mm). Surface scratch is visible upon very close inspection in the lower right corner (approx. 5 mm). No trace of retouching fluoresce under UV light.
