Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the colours are more vivid in the original. The nuances are richer in the original and spangle paint throughout the work is not visible in the catalogue illutration. The work is unlined and in very good condition. In the lower left quadrant, the restoration of an old nick is visible upon close inspection on the back of the canvas.
