Condition
Colours: the catalogue illustration is fairly accurate although the overall tonality is lighter in the original. The dark background tends more to be a light brown.
Condition: The work is in good condition. The canvas is not lined. Under UV light there is no retouching visible. Some creases are visible at the 4 corners due to the original canvas stretching. A 1 cm tear is visible in the upper left corner at 20 cm from the left hand side.
