Condition

The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is slightly warmer in the original. This work is in very good and original condition. There are areas of very minor undulation towards the bottom of the left edge and towards the left of the bottom edge. There is a very minor area of discolouration towards the top right corner, one towards the centre and a small group towards the bottom left corner and a very minor crease towards the bottom right corner. Close inspection reveals an area of very faint artist's retouching to the centre left of the top edge, and a small number towards the left of the lower left quadrant, which are all inherent to the artist's method.
