Condition

Colour: the colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the illustration fails to convey fully the three-dimensional quality of the surface. Condition: this work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals very few and very thin hairline drying cracks at intervals to the heaviest areas of the impasto mostly in the top half, which are inherent to the nature of the medium. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals very few areas of restoration scattered, which are not visible to the naked eye.
