Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly brighter in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals two very thin and stable diagonal hairline cracks towards the extreme bottom right corner, and a horizontal hairline crack towards the bottom edge. Close inspection reveals two further cracks in the upper white section of the composition and a few small networks of craquelure in the central yellow section. Examination under ultra-violet light reveals a very minute spot of restoration towards the centre of the extreme top overturn edge, one towards the right of the extreme overturn bottom edge and two small areas towards the centre of the left edge.
