Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is very slightly warmer and the illustration fails to convey fully the sculptural nature of the work and the rotating movement of the three oval elements and the white disc. Condition: This work is in very good and working condition. Close inspection reveals an extremely thin, hairline and intermittent curving rub-mark and an extremely faint curved area of minor discoloration to the white disc, resulting from the movement of the black ovals. There are three minute specks of paint loss to the rim of the black edge towards the bottom and one towards the top. No restoration is apparent under ultraviolet light.
