Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the illustration fails to convey fully the shimmering quality of the surface. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals a minute and superficial media accretion towards the bottom right corner; a minute paint loss at the extreme bottom overturn edge towards the bottom right corner tip and one to the extreme top left corner tip. There is a very minor diagonal rub mark towards the centre of the upper right quadrant and one towards the centre of the left edge. Close inspection reveals several stable and minute hairline cracks to the protruding tips and very minor irregularities to the surface throughout that have resulted from adhering layers of canvas and are inherent to the artist's working process and the nature of the medium. No restoration is apparent under ultraviolet light.
