Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. All surface inconsistencies appear inherent to the medium and the artist’s working method. There is scattered fine and stable craquelure mostly notably in the white painted areas. The collaged guitar is in sound condition and is adhered securely to the canvas. There is a 9 inch repaired tear to the canvas located 38 inches from the top inches from the right edge of the frame which fluoresces darkly under ultraviolet light inspection. The artist’s frame shows evidence of minor wear and handling.
