Condition

This sculpture is in very good and sound condition overall. The element with the bed and cowhide shows evidence of wear and handling. There are scattered losses to the paint on the bed frame. Additionally, the cowhide exhibits evidence of wear and handling and some minor fur loss. The rope shows evidence of minor discoloration which appears inherent to the artist's intent. The stand and affixed elements show evidence of wear and tarnishing, particularly at the edges and corners. There are a few minor and unobtrusive surface abrasions to the stand.
