This sculpture is in very good and sound condition overall. There are minor dust accretions throughout the surface which are particularly evident in the crevices. There are a few very minor white abrasions on the outer edge of the proper right wing. There is a small liquid accretion located on the upper region of the proper left hip of the bird. Additionally, there are also a few areas paint losses on the interior and inner rim of the vase which was presumably the contact points of the vase component.
