This work is in very good condition overall. There is evidence of light handling and wear around the edges. There is a mark at the top center of the left panel, and a few light rubs around the edges. Unframed.

Salle is attempting to grasp the pictorial space belonging precisely to our time, by using the method of juxtaposition. An odd humor and ambiguity are what enable Salle's work to touch upon the reality of the sensitivity of this time period because they are, indeed, odd and ambiguous.
