Condition

This work is in good condition overall. The sheet has yellowed slightly with age at the edges. There are scattered fine abrasions to the sheet visible under raking light. There is a 1 ½ inch square impression in the sheet, located on the figure's right shoulder which corresponds to the viewing window and foundation stamp in the reverse of the matte. There is a 3 ¾ inch repaired tear with associated fine craquelure and inpainting beginning 17 inches from the bottom edge and 12 inches from the left edge which is visible under raking light and which fluoresces under ultra-violet light. Framed under Plexiglas.
