Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is softer in the original, with the main figure tending more towards a soft brown.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is some light wear to the upper corners of the composition with associated minute specks of media losses. There are three very small rub marks to the centre of the upper right quadrant, and a further vertical rub mark to the white pigment on the lower right of this. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
