Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is richer and deeper with more prominent peach tones in the original. There is a white painted border (approx 20cm.) around all four edges of the work which is not visible in the catalogue illustration.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. On close examination there are a few fine and unobtrusive hairline tension cracks in isolated places around the extreme edges of the work. There are a few faint handling marks at the centre of the right extreme edge (to the white border), and two small rub marks to the centre and top of the left extreme edge. There are a few tiny media accretions visible only upon close examination to the lower right corner of the white border. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
