Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, alothouhg the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant, with fluorescent oranges and pinks in the background and foreground apparent in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is some evidence of wear to the four extreme corners tips and to the right side of the lower extreme edge. There are a few scattered small rub marks to the left side of the lower edge, to the back of the central figure, and to the top right quadrant. There are a few media inconsistencies to the figure which appear original. A transparent drip mark is visible on close inspection to the green jockey figure at the left side of the centre which also appears original. No restoration is apparent under ultraviolet light.
