Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is much more vibrant in the original, with brighter pink and orange hues to the body. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are a few small and unobtrusive media losses to the yellow in the right arm and in places to the figure’s legs. There are some very thin drying craquelure in places to the surface, all of which are inherent to the work’s execution. There is a very faint rub mark to the figure’s left foot and some scattered and small areas of oxidation to the metallic base. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
