Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is warmer and richer with the overall background tending more towards ivory. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are some light fibres adhering to the surface, and very light wear to the upper right corner tip. There are some soft drying craquelure to some of the black pigments which are inherent to the artist's working process and a vertical rub mark to the centre of the upper right quadrant. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
