Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly warmer and richer, with the brick red background tending more towards burnt orange, and the beige along the right edge to cream in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. On close examination there are a few fine and unobtrusive cracks in isolated places to the composition which have been consolidated and stabilised, and fluoresce when examined under ultraviolet light.
