Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original with the background tending more towards ivory.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is some very light wear to the upper corner tips with associated specs of losses. There is as small finger mark 6cm above the centre of the bottom edge. No restoration is apparent when examined with ultraviolet light.
