Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and warmer in the original, with the tree trunk tending more towards brown. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are some fine hairline rub marks to the upper right corner and two minor areas of craquelure, one below the centre of the left edge and the second above the centre of the extreme right edge. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
