The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly is slightly richer, with the pink tending more towards baby pink in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The sheet is hinged to a backing mount at intervals on the reverse. The top and bottom edges are deckled and there are artist’s pinholes in all four corners. The sheet is slightly undulated throughout. There is a small diagonal crease in the top left corner, with a few further shallow isolated creases elsewhere, and a small scuff mark to the lower part of the right extreme edge. On close examination there are two small media accretions to the left side of the knuckle, and two small surface irregularities to the top left and right quadrants. There is a further minute nick to the bottom part of the left extreme edge.
