Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer, with the pink tending more towards fluorescent pink in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is light wear to all four corners and in places to all four edges. There is a light layer of dust and some surface dirt adhering to the surface throughout, in particular to the far right side of the composition. There are a few fine harline cracks to some isolated places in the pink pigment, visible only upon very close inspection. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals a few stokes of what appears to be artist's retouching to the central figure's face and neck.
