Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly richer and deeper in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition and is framed within the artist’s painted wooden frame. There is some evidence of wear, scattered rub marks and a few abrasion and media losses around the edges of the frame. Upon close inspection there are a few tiny media accretions: to the light green pigment towards the top left corner, to the light green pigment towards the top right corner, to the orange pigment above the centre on the right extreme edge and to the red pigment on the lower right quadrant above the lower edge (visible in the catalogue illustration). There is a tiny cluster of pin prick-sized media accretions to the left side of the yellow pigment towards the top of the composition (visible in the catalogue illustration). No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
