Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is richer and deeper in the original. The catalogue illustration fails to convey fully the three dimensionality, texture of the fabric and the weight of the bags apparent in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There are a few scattered loose threads and some light rub marks to a number of the stocking bags. Some light surface dust is adhering to the bags in places.
