Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant, with the pink background tending more towards lavender in the original. The catalogue illustration fails to fully convey the reflective quality of the foil and its rich texture apparent in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Upon close examination there are a few extremely light rub marks to the lower section of the foil on the lower right quadrant. There is a minute dust fibre adhering left of centre on the top extreme edge. Around the edges of the plexi box there are few handling marks, and a number of scattered fine rub marks to the box’s outer edges, including: to the lower left corner, to the centre of the lower edge on the underside and towards the top of the right side edge.
