The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is cooler, with the background tending more towards ivory in the original. The catalogue illustration fails to convey fully the metallic and iridescent pigments apparent in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is some extremely minor wear to the top two extreme corner tips. There is a tiny spot of pigment loss to the black metallic dust right of centre above the bottom edge, visible in the catalgue illustration and inherent to the artist's choice of media. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals no restoration under ultraviolet light.
