The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly richer and deeper, with more prominent green tones to the face of the sculpture in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There are intermittent spots of wear and some associated losses around the extreme edges of the sculpture, notably to the right and left corners on the foremost lower edge and to the lower edge at the back of the sculpture (some visible iin the catalogue illustration). There are a few further cracks and small media losses around the head of the sculpture and around the join between the head and the backing plinth, including: to the right of the mouth, to the right eyebrow, and on the right side where the head joins the plinth (some visible in the catalogue illustration). There is a short fine rub mark under the head's chin.
