Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly deeper and richer in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheet is hinged to the backing mount at intervals along the reverse. The edges of the sheet are deckled. There are artist's pin holes in all four corners. There is a pin head-sized pale brown paper inclusion to the left of the lower part of the red pigment and an extremely light rub mark towards the bottom of the right extreme edge.
