The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the paper tones of each sheet are warmer in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition and each sheet is hinged and held securely behind a window mount. Overall, the majority of sheets have a few spots of discolouration, light creases, artist's smudging, and wear around the extreme edges. The majority also have artist's pinholes in the top two corners.
(vii) There are artist's pinholes to all four corners. On very close examination there are three repaired perforations: two towards the lower part of the left extreme edge, and a further repaired tear to the left of 'Helen'. On close examination, there is some very light cracking to the letterset.
