Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly deeper and richer at the centre of the image in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. On close inspection in raking light there are several areas of surface irregularity, including: to the reclining figure's chest, to the left of his head, a line running parallel along the upper extreme edge, at the upper centre of the right edge and at the centre of the lower edge. There appear to be a few extremely light linear surface imperfections to the top right part of the upper right quadrant. Unexamined out of frame.
