Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer, with more violet undertones to the central, right and left flowers. The blue on the lower right tends more towards indigo in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is a faint intermittent stretcher mark running parallel to the top edge. There is a short horizontal rub mark to the center of the lower edge. There are two tiny rub marks to the lower left corner and two tiny surface imperfections to the pink petal on the right side of the top right quadrant. There is a minute protrusion above the centre on the right extreme edge. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light
