Condition
Colours:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is warmer in the original, with the white segments tending more towards ivory with hues of red.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The sheet is hinged to the backing board in a few places on the reverse with minor undulation throughout. There are several artist’s pin holes in all four corners. There is extremely minor wear to all four corner tips and in places along all four extreme edges. There is artist’s smudging and faint handling marks throughout. All small surface irregularities are inherent to the artist’s working process.
