Colours:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is brighter with the light panel tending more towards a soft powder blue.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There are some areas of oxidation in places throughout and some scattered spots of discolouration, lighter creamy spots towards the bottom and further darker spots to the top section of the composition, all of which are inherent to the artist's choice of medium. All surface irregularities to the middle panel are inherent to the artist's working process. There is some superficial dust throughout the composition, most notably to the glass.
