Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant, with the red tending more towards a post box red and the paper tone tending more towards cream in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheet is attached a backing board on the reverse. There is wear with some associated paper skinning and paint loss along all four edges. There are artist's pin holes in the lower right and top left corners and staple holes to the right of the top right edge and above the centre of the extreme right edge, and in a few places along the lower edge. There is slight undulation to the sheet throughout.
