Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer, with the background tending more towards cream and the lettering to forest green in the original. The catalogue illustration fails to convey fully the three dimensionality of the surface relief apparent in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There artist's holes at the extreme 4 corners, visible in the catalogue illustration which appear original. There is evidence of scattered faint surface abrasions, smudging and fine scratches which appear inherent to the artist's working method. There are short fine surface cracks to the top right and lower right corner, and a few faint lines of red pigment appear to be showing through the plastic surface above the letter 'E' in the lower left quadrant.
