Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate. Condition: This work is in very good condition. On close inspection there is some light wear around the extreme edges which has resulted in some small media losses, notably to the lower right corner. There are further tiny losses to the red pigment, and in a few further isolated places elsewhere. There is a light layer of surface dust and dirt throughout. Some fine networks of stable surface cracks are visible to the blue pigment in the upper section, and in a few further isolated places elsewhere. No restoration is apparent under ulatrviolet light.
