Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly cooler in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheet appears to have been laid down onto a backing sheet, and all four edges are deckled. The lower left extre,e corner tip is folding inwards and there are artist's pinholes in all four corners. On very close examination, tiny matrices of extremely fine craquelure are visible to a few isolated areas of thicker pigment, including to the top left corner and towards the top right corner.
