Condition

Colours: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is more vibrant in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is a fine layer of dust throughout. There is a minute speck of paint loss to the tip of the left foot which is only visible upon very close inspection. There are some very small areas of discolouration in places to the surface snake, all of which are inherent to the artist's choice of media. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
