Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original. Condiion: This work is in very good condition. There is minor wear to all four corners and in places along the extreme left edge. There is a short horizontal rub mark to the centre of the left edge and a further transparent rub mark above this. There is a horizontal faint abrassion approximately 20cm. long to the centre of the left half of the composition. There is a small media accretion to the centre of the top edge. Upon close examination there are a few small scattered matrices of cracks in places throughout. Examination under ultra-violet light reveals a line of retouching over the abrasion on the left side of the composition, and another short line of retouching to the right shape in the central red part of the composition. There are a few further spots of retouching to the top right hand corner.
