Condition

Condition: This work is in good condition. There are very minor paint drip marks on top centre, top left corner and bottom edges, inherent of the artist's working process. There are very minor spots of paint on top left edge and centre. There are very slight rubbing marks along the bottom edge. There is very minor restoration at the extreme edge of top left and bottom right, only visible under close inspection with an ultraviolet light. Colour: The catalogue illustration is very accurate but the overall tonality is slightly less green and more white in the actual work.

Catalogue Note

"Zenderoudi started using these defunct stamps as a means for a new way of expression... The work which at first glance seems simple and delicately minimal is, in fact, the labour of hard work."

(Kamran Diba in conversation with Lina Lazaar, 2008)
