A GROUP OF CHINESE EXPORT EAGLE-DECORATED TEA AND COFFEE WARES CIRCA 1800 and EARLY 19TH CENTURY

comprising: two plates, a sugar bowl and cover, a small circular dish, two coffee cups and a saucer, a saucer, three teacups, a coffee cup and saucer and a small mug. 15 pieces.

Two plates: The one with the monogram has a 2 1/2 inch crack and a 3/8 inch chip under the rim. There is a 1/4 inch glaze imperfection on the upper rim. The other one has a one inch crack to the rim; the rim edge is heavily rubbed; the eagle is rubbed, and the back of hte plate is covered in black firing speckling. A sugar bowl and cover: The cover is in good condition. The sugar bowl has a crack running from the rim to the foot which divides just above hte foot and runs for 2 1/2 inches horizontally around the body. A small circular dish: There is a 1 1/4 inch haircrack to the rim and a 1/4 inch restored chip under the rim with adjacent 1/2 inch haircrack. Some rubbing to the gilding. Two coffee cups: One One has a crack to the base of the handle. The second one is in good condition. Both have slight rubbing to the gilding on the rims. A saucer: Good condition. Saucer with shaped rim: good condition. Three teacups: One is in good condition. One has two 1 inch cracks to the rim, one of the cracks has a chip at the top. The other one has a 1 inch crack to the rim. Coffee Cup and saucer: The saucer has a 1 1/4 inch crack to the rim and two 1 1/2 inch cracks issuing from a 2 inch area of restoration from the rim. The coffee cup is in good condition. Both have rubbing to the gilding. A small mug: there is a 1 1/2 inch crack to the rim.
