Condition
The saucer has a 1/8 inch chip under the rim and several small chips to the bottom of the footrim. The teabowl has a pinhead chip to the exterior of the rim.

Catalogue Note
A saucer identical to the present lot is illustrated by Howard and Ayers, 1978, p. 458, no. 465, who date the piece to 1750, although this dating would be quite late for this type of decoration and body.
