A Chinese Export Armorial Soup Plate and Sugar Bowl and Cover Circa 1745

with the arms of Van Reverhorst.

The cover has two 3/8 inch chips to the rim; one is a deep V shap issuing a 1 inch haircrack. There are also two restored rim chips each around 1/2 inch. The bowl has at least six 1/4 inch or smaller rim chips, some partially restored. There is a 2 inch haircrack running down from the rim. Both handle terminals have been chipped at the base and restored over. The soup plate has a c shaped section broken form the rim in three pieces approximately 3 by 1 1/2 inch extending into a fine haircrack running into the cavetto. On all three pieces the restoration is old and discolored.
