Description

comprising: a pair of coffee cups, a saucer and a beaker with the arms of Martin; a coffee cup and saucer with the arms of Ross impaling Ross; another coffee cup and saucer with the arms of Bull; and a Armorial saucer together with an English bone china replacement coffee cup, mid 19th century, painted with the arms of Holburne. 10 pieces.

Condition
From left to right in the catalogue photograph:
Cup: good condition, there are patches of gilding flaked off from the arms.
Saucer: the arms have been poorly regilt and there is a shallow 1/8 inch rim chip.
Three coffee cups: the smaller beaker has a large area of repair to one side and several cracks to the rim. One coffee cup has 2 1/2 inch crack to the rim and numerous rim chips and a crack to the base of hte handle. The other coffee cup has a 1 inch crack to the rim and a V shaped 1/8 inch chip issuing a 1/2 inch haircrack.
Saucer: it has been broken into two pieces and reglued; one of those pieces has been furhter broken and restored.
Saucer: 1/8 chip under the rim.
The English cup: in good condition.
Saucer: in good condition.
Coffee cup: there is a 1/4 inch chip with an associated long 2 1/2 inch crack.
