possibly for the American Market, each gilt with the intials JMS (?) from GC beneath a ribbon inscribed L'AMOUR ET L'AMITE.

Covers – one has a restored chip to the side of the knop and a restored over crack running from the rim approx 2 inches into the cover. There is a restored area to the rim where the crack begins presumably covering a restored chip. The other cover has a 2 inch long area and a 1 inch long area of restoration to the rim, covering rim chips. Urns – one urn has one handle restored back on and the other handle has restoration around the top section. The other urn has been broken from its foot and restored back together and both handles have been restored back on. The restoration is old and quite apparent.
