comprising a pair of famille-verte teabowls and saucers, Kangxi period, painted with birds perched on pine trees; a set of four unusual café-au-lait famille-rose beakers, painted with panels of figures; a pair of Japanese Imari bowls, Meiji period, of chrysanthemum form, painted with panels of flowers; and a famille-rose shallow bowl, Yongzheng period, painted with two cockerel amongst peony and rockwork
Condition
The pair of tea-bowls and saucers are in good condition with the exception of nibbles to rims and foot; one of the beakers has a 5cm., long hairline rim crack; one of the Imari bowls has a 5cm., long hairline crack to foot and base and both have light rubbing to the gilding; the 'famille-rose' dish has been broken into several pieces and repaired.
