formerly painted and with a cane back and hinged seat the arms with scroll decoration and the sides and front with shaped panels and with formerly upholstered arm supports; alterations;  together with a French provincial beech, ash and cane low commode chair, distressed (2)

Condition

Both chairs are in need of some attention. The larger piece is lacking upholstery to the back and the seats and has stains to the seat. In need of a sympathetic polish. The other chair has damage to the caned panel which is detached due to the damaged hinges.
