- Oak, brass and glass
- 30cm. high, 48cm. wide, 38cm. deep; 1ft., 1ft. 7¾in., 1ft. 3in.
with faceted glass and graduated oak base raised on Louis XVI style bracket feet, bearing a plaque engraved Wm Hurd / 69 Duke Street Barrow in Furness and now with a gilt metal picture light
Condition
Good general condition. The front section of glass has been replaced and is not bevelled. The later light fitting obstructs the opening of the case. The molded oak plinth is in good condition with patination to the corners. The lock requires some attention.
