Provenance
This chandelier formed part of a group of French 18th century furniture that was introduced to both Chatsworth and Devonshire House by the last quarter of the 19th century. It appears in a photograph taken in the Tapestry Gallery circa 1920.

Condition
In overall very good original condition. There are some very minor chips to two or three cut glass drops. Some drops around the drip pans are missing. An impressive piece of good proportions.
